Wisnet, Dolores B.
(Noe) Appleton, Wisconsin Age 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday December 5, 2003 at Appleton Medical Center. Dolores was born April 6, 1924 in Menasha the daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Schmalz) Noe. The family moved to a farm on Lake Park Rd. in the Town of Harrison when she was a child. Dolores graduated from St. Mary Menasha grade school and high school. Following graduation she operated Dolores' Beauty Shop in Appleton. She was united in marriage to Joseph Wisnet sharing many wonderful years together before his death on May 3, 1983. Following their marriage Dolores devoted full time to raising her family. She later joined Joe as bookkeeper at Christensen and Wisnet Oil Co., until her retirement in 2001. Following the death of Joe, Dolores married John Sahli. John passed away on March 11, 1998. Dolores was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of the ladies of Guadalupe Society, and St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary. Dolores will be remembered as a special giving person, a true lady, a wonderful wife and mother who lived her faith everyday. She will be deeply missed by her sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey (Shirley) Wisnet of Hilbert, Joseph Wisnet of Appleton, and Deborah Wisnet of Sherwood; grandchildren Stephanie and Abigail Wisnet of Sherwood, Jessica (Bill) Schaff of Kaukauna, and Robert Sipes (special friend Tina) of Appleton; and great grandchild Macy Sipes; step-children John Sahli of Milwaukee, James (Gail) Sahli of Amherst, VA, Paul (Carole) Sahli of Pensacola, FL, Thomas (Kathy) Sahli of Appleton, David (Connie) Sahli of Milwaukee, Robert (Sandra) Sahli of Neenah, and Steven (Norlita) Sahli of Odenton, MD; and favorite little friend Angel. Dolores was also preceded in death by a brother Alvin Noe. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11am Tuesday December 9th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel from 4-8pm Monday and then directly at the church (Sacred Heart Room) from 9am Tuesday until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery Menasha. The parish prayer service will be at 7:30pm Monday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. All things are possible..
